In 2024, Wild Birds Unlimited Grosse Pointe Woods purchased 8 bluebird houses and posts so that DBA could install a Bluebird Trail on Belle Isle.

Foundation Spotlight:

In 2024 the National Fish Wildlife Foundation granted DBA $50,000 to expand our Detroit Bird CIty Project. These vital funds support efforts by both of our organizations to restore green spaces that benefit people, wildlife, and the watershed.

We partner with local nonprofits, municipalities, and universities to expand our reach and maximize efforts to support birds in our own backyard.

Partner Spotlight:

We have partnered with the Historic Elmwood Cemetery and Foundation for more than 10 years to bring bird and history enthusiasts alike to one of Detroit’s most important historical sites and its first arboretum.
